Dear Steve,

In French: Joyeux anniversaire !
In this day, I would like to share with you a thought. There is a point in “Memoirs of Hadrian” which is very interesting in my opinion: Antinous connects Hadrian to the earth, to the whole humanity and therefore, more deeply, to himself. That is the real love. But I know you already know all that...

Have a good week-end in Chile and take care.

A letter to H.

I ordered your book "The invisible Man" (for me incredible Man) I read, in my spare time, a few pages a day.
It is amazing that we have places we both like and that we have walked the same corridors. Paris <3
I also did not know that you live near Oxford (beautiful city and surroundings). For the past 3 years I used to visit my middle, sweet daughter Sara who was living there and studying the IB programme at St. Clare's college at that time.

I wish you had a beautiful day on Sunday, full of love, full of happiness and laughter!

Entry no. 569 from Anne-Aurore from somewhere near Paris on May 7, 2017 at 3:38 pm

Dear Steve,

Fortunately, we will not have to rebuild a new Maginot line to protect us from imaginary enemies. Hatred might have sprung from the urns. Relief!
Otherwise, Colours Not Found In Nature is a great album. I always appreciate your lyrics (metaphor and sincerity, I think that I understand). The two last songs are touching. If you do some gigs with Isildurs Bane in Sweden or somewhere else, I think that we will happy to be there.
At last, as I didn’t mention it in my last message (I’ve to fight with my bad English!!!), I was glad to discover John Helmer last Sunday at the DeMontfort Hall. Maybe one day, I will try to read one of his books. Thank you again for all that you give... I’m currently writing another book (about a French novelist from the Nineteen Century) and your lyrics are always close to me.
Take care and see you soon.

I just put on a few disks to test a new amp, one disk was Toni Childs' "Union" album...saw your name in the liner notes! One of my favorites from the late 80's - no wonder! Best wishes to you and the band for much continued success! Marillion has been my favorite since discovering the band about 4 years ago. God Bless!
