  Hi Steve,
Saw you in the local Supermarket today-glad to see you can still walk!
My seven year old called me a wuss for not saying hello! Needless to say she's...probably right.
Really looking forward to seeing you in Oxford next month-it's my wife's Birthday treat.
Next time i'll pluck up the courage to string a few words together and say hello-without sounding like a spanner.
Hope the recovery continues well

Hope your recovery is going well Steve. Looking forward to seeing you at the National Audio Show and 100 Club, which I cannot believe is not sold out yet. It was one of my favourite gigs last year! Hopefully i can get you to sign my copy of your brilliant book at one of the shows.

A blast from the past this Steve. If you cast your mind back to Fred Waring's maths lessons and that bloody window pole thing sweeping across the desks at bonce height you'll work out who this fool writing is. I sat next to you - at the front. I believe I hit you round the chops once, (by accident!) with my ruler. Or was it you hit me?

Anyway, really glad to see you're alive, well, kicking and that someone still has a social conscience. There are waaay too few of them left these days.

Take care

PS: I am enjoying your tour diaries quite a lot. (I am in page 234)
Besides of being a very good singer, you are a very good writer. Very descriptive and sensitive.
You almost transport me to the places you describe ☺
Next to your book there is always my little Ipad, so I can see where you were and check the meaning of the words I do not understand.
Hope I finish it before my trip to Europe (leaving on Sept. 15th)
Guess what? I will be celebrating my birthday in London!!

Take good care of yourself, keep your spirits up, and enjoy your cup of tea ☺

  Dear Mr. h,
fingers crossed for the knee surgery!
I'm sure it'll heal well & quickly and you'll be rid of all trouble afterwards.
Just take it easy and don't be too impatient during convalescence.
